Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school Group (“CNPG”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. We use cookies to help our website operate effectively, understand how visitors use the website and, where applicable, remember preferences.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can help a website recognise your device, remember preferences, provide functionality and understand how the website is being used. The rules also apply to certain technologies that store information on, or access information from, a user’s device.

Strictly necessary cookies These cookies are required for the website to function properly. They may be used for things such as:

• Website security.
• Form functionality.
• Navigation.
• Accessibility.
• Remembering cookie preferences.
• Essential website functionality.

These cookies do not normally require consent where they are genuinely necessary for a service requested by the user.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our website. For example, they may help us understand:

• How many people visit the website.
• Which pages are visited.
• How visitors navigate the website.
• Which content is most useful.
• Whether website improvements are working.

Our previous website used Google Analytics. The actual analytics technology used on the new website should be confirmed before this policy is published. Analytics cookies should only be activated where the appropriate consent has been obtained.

These cookies may allow the website to remember choices you make and provide an improved experience.

When you first visit our website, you may be presented with a cookie consent banner allowing you to choose which non-essential cookies you accept. You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time through the website’s cookie settings. We will not use non-essential cookies simply because you continue browsing the website. ICO guidance states that consent for non-essential cookies must involve a clear positive action.

Some features on our website may be provided by third parties. These may include services such as:

• Analytics providers.
• Maps.
• Video platforms.
• Social media services.
• Booking or enquiry services.
• Communication platforms.

Third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies. The final cookie table should be updated following a technical cookie scan of the new website.

You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Please be aware that blocking essential cookies may affect how some parts of our website function.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, technology or use of cookies changes.
